BinckBank strengthens its bond with cycling world this week and continues to invest in a sport that is becoming more popular every year. An exclusive partnership with Team Sunweb was announced today.

Within the partner agreement, BinckBank will also actively assist Team Sunweb with the financial support of all riders, including the WorldTour men and WorldTour women and Development program. With world leaders such as Tom Dumoulin, Michael Matthews, Lucinda Brand and many up-and-coming talents as part of the team, Team Sunweb is one of the strongest teams in the cycling circuit.

As a result, we not only continue to support cycling, but we can also collaborate with our team in a beautiful way with our own financial expertise and thus have our added value in training modern top riders ”, says Jon Thissen, Director Marketing & Sales BinckBank Netherlands.

BinckBank will join Team Sunweb as an official partner and from then on play an active role in the Team Sunweb Keep Challenging Center, the training campus in Sittard where talents can develop further.

The strategic cooperation with Team Sunweb underlines the special relationship BinckBank has with cycling. In terms of mentality, this fits in well with the bank and its investing customers, where ambition, initiative and the pursuit of (financial) independence are of paramount importance.

Since 2017, the bank has been the partner and names of the BinckBank Tour, the largest cycling Stage in the Netherlands and Belgium that will start for the third time on 12 August this year.  In addition, several one-day events such as the E3 BinckBank Classic and the BinckBank Dam to Dam Bicycle Classic were staged this year.
